Life Coaching for Athletes

Life coaching is a process of discovery. I will help you discover who you are, your inner gifts, talents, and dreams/visions buried under years of programming, familial & culturing conditioning or other peoples expectations. A traditional life coach is someone who guides you to reach goals and make changes in all areas of your life. An integrative life coach does that AND helps you to heal while empowering you to change your life with coaching tools, techniques, and action plans. As your coach, my intent is to help you unlock your potential and empower you to be your absolute best on and off the field.

I will help you gain freedom from past ongoing challenges, overcome harmful habits, and reprogram patterns that block your highest levels of performance. As an integrative life coach for athletes I guide athletes take actions to live the life they desire and fulfill your vision as an athlete.

“By incorporating mindfulness techniques, athletes can learn to stay present, focused, and centered amidst high-pressure situations, allowing them to perform at their peak. Techniques such as focused breathing, body scan exercises, and visualization can help athletes regulate their emotions, stay grounded, and manage stress effectively. Moreover, mindfulness practices encourage athletes to accept and acknowledge their thoughts and emotions without judgment, enabling them to navigate pressure with greater resilience and a clear mindset. This approach aids in enhancing performance, maintaining composure, and fostering mental well-being among elite footballers.” AB

Anthony and I have spent a lot of time off the field with regard to personal mental health. Throughout high school and now college, Anthony has provided techniques and methods for emotional management. Through mindfulness and a change of perspective, Anthony has provided avenues in which I can take something stressful such as school work, personal relationships, and future endeavors and reflect on them positively. Journaling, meditation, or simply taking 5 seconds to regather oneself are examples of techniques that have allowed me to be more understanding of my personal emotions. I’ve come to find that unfortunate circumstances are out of our control and shouldn’t elicit strong reactions, rather we should take a moment to reflect and find the gift or the wisdom that can come from those circumstances.
